Abstract
Rad ispituje ulogu medija u slobodnom vremenu djece i mladih pri čemu je jedan od problema utvrditi načine provođenja slobodnog vremena. Rad uključuje istraživanje kroz koje se analiziraju pozitivni i negativni utjecaji medija, njihovo korištenje u slobodno vrijeme, vrste tehnologija koje učenici posjeduju, praćenje televizijskih programa te mišljenja i stavovi učenika o medijskim sadržajima koji okupiraju njihovo slobodno vrijeme koje bi mogli iskoristiti na neki drugi (aktivan) način. U istraživanju su sudjelovali učenici osnovnih i srednjih škola, a dobiveni se rezultati uspoređuju sa prijašnjim istraživanjima.
Abstract (english)
The thesis examines the role of the media in the free time of children and young people, wherein one of the problems has been to identify the ways of spending free time. The thesis includes a research through which it analyzes the positive and negative effects of the media, children and youth use of their leisure time, type of technology that students possess, television programs that they follow, and the opinions and attitudes of students when it comes to the media contents that occupy their free time which they could use in another (active) way. The study involved students of primary and secondary schools, and the results are compared with previous studies.
