Abstract
U ovom će završnom radu biti razmatrane kulturološke posljedice utjecaja novih medija. Na početnim će stranicama biti riječ o dvosmjernom utjecaju medija i društva te o medijskoj publici čije karakteristike uvelike određuju kako shvaćanje tako i način prezentiranja medijskih poruka. Dalje, bit će objašnjen značaj informacijskih tehnologija u društvu te glavnih principa koji određuju smjerove u kojima EU treba razvijati strategije za informacijsko društvo. S pojmom medija često se povezuje manipulacija, bit će objašnjeno što je ona zapravo i koji su njeni elementi te koliko je važna medijska pismenost i medijska kultura. Zatim će biti rečeno nešto više o novim medijima, internetu i društvenim mrežama. Na kraju će tvrdnje o utjecaju navedenih medija biti pokrepljene istraživanjima. Neporecivo je da su mediji unijeli velike promijene u ljudske živote, promijene na bolje, međutim, postoje i negativne posljedice koje su se proširile na brojna područja svakodnevnog života čovjeka.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper will be scrutinized cultural consequences of the new media influence. The starting pages will be about the two-way influence of the media and the society, about the media public, whose features are largely determined by both, the perception and the way of presenting media messages. Furthermore will be explained importance of information technology in the society and the main principles that define the directions in which EU should develop information society strategies. The term media is often associated with manipulation, it will be explained what it really is, what are its elements, and how important media literacy and media culture are. Then there will be something more about new media, the internet and social networks. Finally, the claims about influence of the mentioned media will be initiated by research. It is inevitable that the media has brought significant changes to human lives, changes to the better, however, there are also negative consequences that have spread to the numerous areas of everyday life.
