Abstract
Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi analizom uloge društvenih mreža u kvalitetnijom upravljanju knjižnica. U prvom se dijelu rada definiraju pojam i uloga knjižnica te njihov društveni utjecaj. U drugom se dijelu rada razmatra pojam društvenih mreža, njihova kratka povijest, usluge, mogućnosti te najvažnije za ovaj rad - njihov utjecaj na rad knjižničarske djelatnosti.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the analysis of the role of Internet social networks in improving management of the libraries. In the first part of the paper the term and the role of libraries and their social impact are defined. In the second part of the paper we define the concept of Internet social networks, their brief history, services, opportunities, and most importantly for this work - their impact on the successful library activities.
