Abstract
U radu se analizira utjecaj estetike kiča i campa na postmodernu kulturu. Pozornost se posvećuje njihovoj teoriji, nemogućnosti definiranja, nastanku, karakteristikama, načinu na koji utječu na našu svakodnevicu i kako se mi odnosimo prema njima, zašto ih je često teško razlikovati od umjetnosti i koliko je svatko od nas odgovoran za njihov postanak, funkcioniranje, rasprostranjenost i budućnost. Postmoderna kultura je vrijeme u kojem se urušavaju razlike izmeĎu popularne i visoke kulture, vrijeme konzumerizma i standardizacije svih oblika proizvodnje (uključujući kulturu) i vremena u kojem se stvaraju pseudo-vrijednosti umjesto pravih vrijednosti. Ovaj rad objašnjava razloge popularnosti i rasprostranjenosti kiča i campa, kao i razloge zbog kojih je danas kič postao društveni fenomen kojim je preplavljen svaki segment društva i života, a camp se utopio u mainstreamu.
Abstract (english)
The paper analyzes the influence of kitsch and camp aesthetics on postmodern culture. Attention is paid to their theory, inability to define, their origin, characteristics, the way they affect our everyday life, how we deal with them, why it is mostly difficult to distinguish them from art and how much each of us are responsible for their appearance, functioning, distribution and the future. Postmodern culture is time in which the differences between popular and high culture collapse, time of consumerism and the standardization of all forms of production (including culture) and the time in which are created pseudo-values instead of true values. This paper explains the reasons of kitsch and camp popularity and prevelance as well as the reasons why today kitsch has become a social phenomenon that has flooded every segment of society and life, and the camp drowned in mainstream.
