Abstract
Ovaj se rad bavi definiranjem uzroka nastanka znanstvene revolucije, promjenama koje su uslijedile tijekom same revolucije i kakve su te promjene imale posljedice na tadašnji svijet i današnje poglede na znanost. Nadalje kroz rad se prožima i kontekst kulture i njenog odnosa sa znanosti, koji su stvorili današnju sliku modernog društva, odnosno zapadne civilizacije.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the definition of the causes of the emergence of the scientific revolution, the changes that followed during the revolution itself, and what these changes had on the then world and today's views on science. Furthermore, the work is pervaded by the context of culture and its relationship with science, which have created today's image of modern society, or Western civilization.
