Abstract
Stand-up komedija, kao sredstvo zabave ili kao oblik umjetnosti, crpi inspiraciju iz svih mogućih izvora. Pri tom treba uzeti u obzir razliku između standup-a i tradicionalne glume, jer u standup-u izvođači također i pišu svoj materijal. To znači da stand-up komičar ima slobodu izbora po pitanju tema o kojima želi govoriti. To povlači pitanje izbora tema o kojima govoriti, a koje izbjegavati? Preciznije, trebaju li po tom pitanju ikakve granice postojati? U ovom radu razmatraju se navedena pitanja kao i pitanje cenzure te slobode govora. Ponuđeni su i argumenti za postavljanje nekih granica i argumenti protiv, a pritom je u obzir uzeta i uloga publike kao korektiva u procesu stvaranja materijala.
Abstract (english)
Stand-up comedy, whether as a medium of entertainment or as a form of art, draws its inspiration from all possible sources. There is also a difference between stand-up and traditional acting where stand-up performers also write their own material, unlike actors. That means that a stand-up comic has the freedom to choose what he or she will write and speak about. That brings up the issue of choosing which topics to talk about and which to avoid? More precisely, should any limits even exist concerning that matter? In this paper those issues are discussed, as well as the issue of censorship and limiting the freedom of speech. Arguments both for setting some limits and against it are offered and the role of audience as a corrective is also taken into consideration.
