Abstract
Za razliku od prijašnjih vremena, suvremeni turisti odabiru destinacije koje žele posjetiti ovisno o tome zadovoljava li posjet određenoj destinaciji njihovu potrebu za doživljajem, iskustvom i spoznavanjem nove kulture. S obzirom na sve zahtjevnije turiste, sve je više izazova stavljeno pred mnoge destinacije koje pokušavaju privući sve veći broj posjetitelja. Kako su kulturna baština, povijest, arhitektura i kulturno naslijeđe jedan od glavnih motiva za privući turista, Hrvatska ima dobre temelje za razvoj kulturnog turizma.
Abstract (english)
Unlike in earlier times, modern tourists choose destinations that wish to visit depending on whether they meet their need for experience, and learning about new cultures. Due to the ever demanding tourists, more and more challenges are placed in front of many destinations that are trying to attract more visitors. As the cultural heritage, history, architecture and cultural heritage are one of the main motives to attract tourists, Croatia has a good foundation for the development of cultural tourism.
