Abstract
Rad se bavi pitanjem manipulativnih mehanizama televizije. Budući da je televizija najzastupljeniji masovni medij, manipulacije koje se provode putem programa imaju najveći utjecaj na konzumente programa. Definiran je pojam manipulacije u masovnim medijima, opisani su najčešći oblici manipulativnih mehanizama televizije. Navedeni su primjeri manipulativnih mehanizama u informativnome programu u razdoblju komunizma i Domovinskoga rata na primjeru dviju knjiga i pregledom dostupnih materijala na You Tubeu. Rad prikazuje reklamni diskurs kao vrhunac manipulacije u masovnim medijima te njihov utjecaj na žene. Obrađene su reklame namijenjene ženama. Provedeno je istraživanje o pojavnosti žena u dnevnim novinama. Zaključak rada prikazuje prisutnost manipulativnih mehanizama u masovnim medijima, poglavito televiziji, kao i nejednaku pojavnost žena u odnosu na muškarce u najtiražnijim dnevnim novinama.
Abstract (english)
The work deals with the issue of manipulative mechanisms of television. Since television represents the most common mass media manipulations carried out through the program have the greatest impact on consumers of the program. The concept of manipulation in the mass media and the most common forms of television manipulative mechanisms are described. The examples of manipulative mechanisms of the news program under communism and the Homeland War are analyzed by means of the case studies of two books and a review of the available material on YouTube. This thesis presents the advertising discourse as the culmination of manipulation in the mass media and their impact on women. The conclusion of the work shows the presence of manipulative mechanisms in the mass media, especially television, as well as the unequal representation of women than men in the highest-circulation daily newspapers.
