Abstract
Ovaj rad obrađuje temu skupnog financiranja – crowdfundinga kao alternativnog načina financiranja s posebnim naglaskom na crowdfunding u Republici Hrvatskoj. Prije svega promatra se potreba za pronalaženjem izvora financiranja te inovacije i kreativnost koje su temelj pokretanja poduzetničkih pothvata - startupa, čiji je pojam definiran i objašnjen u radu. Zatim se obrađuje crowdfunding kao proces u kojem se od javnosti traži financijska podrška za pokretanje kreativnog projekta ili poduzeća, a proces se odvija putem Interneta, na jednoj od brojnih crowdfunding platformi. Analizira se razvoj, modeli crowdfundinga, prednosti i nedostatci te uloga crowdfundinga u promociji i zaštiti ljudskih prava. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na razvitak crowdfundinga u Republici Hrvatskoj te se metodom studije slučaja analiziraju dva domaća pothvata – crowdfunding kampanja i startup.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the topic of collective funding - crowdfunding as an alternative way of financing in the world, with particular emphasis on crowdfunding in the Republic of Croatia. First of all, there is a need to find financing sources and innovation and creativity are the foundation of startup entrepreneurship initiatives - defined and explained in the paper. Crowdfunding is being analysed as a process in which financial support is sought from the public for launching a creative project or enterprise, and the process is being carried out via Internet on one of many crowdfunding platforms. Crowdfunding types, advantages and disadvantages and also a role that crowdfunding has in human rights protection are all analysed. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of crowdfunding in the Republic of Croatia and by a case study method two domestic companies are analysed in the paper- one crowdfunding campaign and one startup.
