Intertextuality and intermediality in Nedjeljko Fabrio's novel Triemeron will deal with identifying and analyzing the intertextual and intermedial procedures in the case of the novel Triemeron written by Nedjeljko Fabrio and published in 2002. Nedjeljko Fabrio is novelist who in all his novels, poetically and technically follows the paradigm of post-modern novel. The fundamental idea of textualized history that is represented in his novels, is shown and proved just with quoting and processing of numerous intertext. In novels they are introduced with technique of collage and montage, and are graphically separated (horizontal line) of the fictional parts. Novel Triemeron is layered prose work that can be, and should be read, analyzed and interpreted at different levels. The basic idea of the novel - the inability to escape from the repetition of history and destiny allocations, and on the micro and macro level - constantly deepens and complements issues: patriotism as an ideology of human destiny in the correlation of life and politics, family history, the relationship between art and politics / ideology... Intertextuality in the novel Triemeron is reflected primarily in the fact that the author of sources and intertext does not seek to assimilate into the text, but the opposite - stresses them, even with graphical and stylistically solutions. Thus we see that Fabrio establishes intertextual and intermedia relations between literary texts and other art - art, music, film. Such relationships are established in the novel and towards motifs from popular culture, and what is in this paper exemplified.
